23 vehicles and some €400,000 in cash were seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau in West Dublin today.
The search operation was ordered following an investigation into an organised crime group that Gardaí believe is involved in drug trafficking.
During the searches, CAB officers were joined by Gardaí from the Dublin Metropolitan Region West, the Emergency Response Unit, the Armed Support Unit, the Stolen Motor Vehicle Investigation Unit and the Customs Dog Unit.
130 officers searched 14 different locations and also found suspected cannabis herb, electronic devices and assorted documentation.
Gardaí described the operation as a “significant development” in CAB’s investigation into crime in Dublin.
