The A&L Goodbody ‘ALG5K’ returns to Dublin tomorrow Tuesday September 10th, with thousands set to take on the 5k route around the streets of Dublin’s iconic docklands.

Back for its 13th edition, the ALG5K (formerly GT5K) continues to be a mainstay on the social running calendar each year.

The ALG5K is set to welcome 4,000 participants from corporate Ireland for an 8pm start as they put on their running shoes for Ireland’s largest corporate city centre 5k run, while also enjoying some healthy competition with colleagues, friends and other businesses.

The ALG5K will see teams of four combining their times to determine the winner in each of this year’s three categories: male, female & mixed.

This year’s participants will be cheered on by Olympian Catherina McKiernan and Dublin GAA star Dean Rock who will get the runners underway as part of their roles as this year’s ALG5K ambassadors.

“We are delighted to be sponsoring an event that helps promote health and wellbeing, while also encouraging some friendly competition across the business community,” said David Widger, Managing Partner at A&L Goodbody.

“We thank all those who have entered teams and supported the ALG5K’s nominated charity in Depaul. We wish everyone participating the best of luck as they take to the ALG5K start line on Tuesday evening.”

All participants will receive an ALG5K T-shirt which will be available at registration in the Spencer Hotel between 10am and 6pm on Tuesday September 10th. A virtual goodie bag will also be emailed to all participants post-race.
