IRISH stars were put through their paces this week as they turned out for the opening of a brand new Skechers store.

Stephanie Roche, Keith Duffy, Gillian and Aisling Quinn and more and turned up at Dundrum Town Centre to mark the opening of the retailer’s 24th store in Ireland.

Celebrity Trainer Paul Byrne put the stars through their paces in a fitness challenge – all in the name of raising €1,000 for their chosen charity.

As well as good sports Roche, Duffy and Quinn, Pop Singer Lea Heart, Pro Dancer Adam Fogarty, Boxing Champion Kaci Rock, Model Sophie Anderton, Presenter Glenda Gilson, Lorna Spaine, Jennifer Carroll (Jens Journey), Denise Smith, Carla Piera Fitzgerald (Half Of Carla) and Personal Trainers Laura Scanlon Murphy (Bodyzone), Oisin Mulligan and Jack McGailey, all took part.

The stars were divided into smaller groups to take part in a high-energy workout on the Techno Gym circuit after exploring the new store.

Aisling Quinn topped the leaderboard and took home the win. She chose to donate the €1,000 prize winnings to The Dillon Quirke Foundation.

The charity works to raise awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome and funds widespread cardiac screening for young people involved in sport.

The new state-of-the-art Skechers store promises an immersive shopping experience and offers an extensive range of footwear, apparel, and accessories.

The store will also stock Skechers football boots and an exclusive Snoop Dogg footwear collection.

Managing Director at ShuzGroup, Paul Gallagher said: “We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new Skechers flagship store in the vibrant heart of Dundrum Town Centre.

The Skechers store at Dundrum Town Centre is located on Level 2, nestled between Golden Discs and Penneys.
