Mayo will host Derry in the standout tie of the All-Ireland SFC preliminary quarter-finals.

Kevin McStay’s team played out a thrilling draw against Dublin on Sunday in Dr Hyde Park, where victory would have seen them top the group.

But Cormac Costello’s late point earned Dublin a share of the spoils and sent Mayo into the draw for the preliminary quarter-finals, where they will now face Mickey Harte’s Derry side.

Connacht champions Galway suffered a similar fate to Mayo, where a draw, this time against Armagh, denied them top spot in the group table. They will now host Monaghan, who held on in a dramatic finish against Meath on Sunday.

Elsewhere, Tyrone will host Roscommon, while Louth are at home to Cork, with Ger Brennan’s side having advanced on scoring different following their loss at the weekend to Kerry.
