With Dublin exiting the championship this summer at an earlier stage than we have become accustomed to, it will give their players a bit more time to refresh ahead of the 2025.
The Dubs have been perennial All-Ireland contenders for the last 15 years or so, with their quarter-final exit this season the first time they have failed to reach the last four of the Sam Maguire since 2009.
It is likely that there will be quite a few changes to their panel next season, with it being expected that a number of stalwarts will retire over the coming weeks and months.
Even for the Dublin stars still in their prime, the earlier than usual end to their summer will give them the opportunity to pursue other interests.

Paul Mannion has a sizeable soccer pedigree. He was a star player for Home Farm at underage level, even representing Ireland up to U18 level.
While he would ultimately opt to pursue a future in Gaelic games, there is no doubt that he will be a valuable edition to St Mary’s.
