Names have been announced of the 25 sports clubs chosen to receive funding under this year’s Texaco Support for Sport initiative.

Now in its fouth year, the judging process is overseen by former Irish rugby international and well-known broadcaster, Donncha O’Callaghan.

Naomh Éanna GAA Club, Gorey is set to receive €5,000 after being named as one of the 25 Irish sports clubs to benefit from the 2024 Texaco Support for Sport initiative.

€125,000 will be shared between the 25 winning clubs across Ireland. James Twohig, Director of Ireland Operations, Valero Energy (Ireland) Limited, congratulated the winners and acknowledged “the invaluable contribution” that sports clubs make to the heart of community life in Ireland.
