Shelmaliers got off to a winning start in the Dominic Smith Electrical Senior football championship, defeating St. James’ with a little to spare in Group A in Chadwicks Wexford Park on Friday.

These sides met in a shameful encounter in 2023, in which next to no football was played as they both tried to act the big men. Thankfully this game could hardly have been more contrasting as the two clubs let the ball skills do the talking.
