Gardaí are urging Clare supporters to exercise caution when travelling to this weekends All Ireland Hurling Final.

Fans are reminded to expect delays at the M8 toll booth, with large tailbacks seen early in the morning of Cork’s semi final clash with Limerick.

Gardai are requesting that people make use of the park and ride facilities available in Dublin and to ensure that their cars are parked legally.

Roads Policing Superintendent of the Clare-Tipperary Garda Division, Eddie Golden, has been telling Clare FM’s Darragh O’Grady that Clare fans should by all means enjoy the day, but to do so responsibly.
