Rowers from Lee Valley Rowing Club and a Fermoy Rowing Club athlete will compete at the Championships next month

Lee Valley’s Sophia Monahan (left), who won the Senior Women’s Double event alongside Lee Valley RC clubmate Holly Davis at the recent Irish Championships, will represent Ireland in the Lightweight Women’s Double event in Canada.

Mid and north Cork rowers will represent Ireland at the U23 and U19 World Rowing Championships at St Catharines in Ontario, Canada next month.

Lee Valley Rowing Club, based at Farran Woods near Macroom, will have three of its members competing at the Championships.
