18-year-old Katarina Roberts from Castlegregory brought home bronze from the Dance World Cup which was held in Prague earlier this month.

Castlegregory teenager Katarina Roberts can hold her head high this month after she arrived home from the recent Dance World Cup in Prague with a a coveted Bronze medal to her name.

9,500 dancers from 66 countries took part in a tournament that is known as the ‘Olympics of Dance’. Ireland was represented at the tournament by a team of 89 dancers, three of whom hailed from right here in Kerry. Two were pupils of the Tara Dore School of Dance while Katarina plies her trade in Cantarina Music and Dance.
