A Cork North-West TD has called for the prompt announcement of the Sports Capital Grants, which he said will see a record of €250m fund made available for the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme.

Fianna Fáil TD Michael Moynihan said that he Sports Capital and Equipment Programme has “transformed” the sporting landscape of Ireland, by contributing to improvements in the quality and quantity of sporting facilities in villages, towns and cities across Ireland.
