CLONTIBRET will be eager to bring Killanny back down to earth after the newcomers’ senior championship opening weekend win against Donaghmoyne last weekend.

However, O’Neill’s will be without the talismanic Conor McManus after he went off injured in the 2019 Monaghan SFC champions’ opening two-point win against Inniskeen.

Inniskeen themselves will travel to Latton this evening, where they will look to overturn that loss to Clontibret.

This year’s league champions Latton have yet to play a game in this year’s championship so will hope that that freshness in their squad will help their chances against John McEntee’s side.

Ballybay, fresh from a defeat by Scotstown at Páirc Mhuire in the opening round, will look to bounce straight back when they host Corduff tomorrow.

Reigning champions Scotstown will feel confident going into their game at Aughnamullen – who received a bye last week – tomorrow.

The top team in both groups advances straight into the semi-finals, whilst the second and third teams go to the play-off round and fourth and fifth move into relegation play-offs.
