MUNGRET-ST PAUL’S continued their winning start to the Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship when edging past city rivals Monaleen 2-8 to 0-11 at Rathbane on Thursday evening.

2023 Limerick intermediate champions Mungret-St Paul’s are closing in on a place in the knock-out stages of the senior championship after winning their opening three Group 1 games.

Leader Sport caught up with Mungret-St Paul’s manager Kevin O’Hagan after Thursday night’s city derby clash.
