DUBLIN, CA — The city of Dublin is looking for professional artists, or students working under the guidance of a professional artist or teacher, to submit designs for a temporary project to paint murals on basketball court keys throughout the city. The city said it hopes the designs would make the courts more inviting, and draw more visitors.
Artists will be provided with paint, sealant, and stipends of $1,200. Artists may submit up to three proposals, and be selected for up to two. Artists will paint two keys at four parks, for a total of eight murals. Locations include Alamo Creek Park, Dolan Park, Schaefer Ranch Park, and Ted Fairfield Park.
Proposals must be submitted by Monday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. See here to apply and for more information.
