Business and technology consultancy firm Slalom has announced it will be creating up to 300 jobs in the next three to five years at its Dublin office.

The firm first opened its Dublin base in 2022, and is headed by ex-Accenture and LinkedIn executive and “proud Irishwoman” Jane Dawson-Howe.

The firm recently signed a lease in the Waterways House in Grand Canal Dock, moving on from its current space near St. Stephens Green.

The new roles will be in artificial intelligence (AI), Salesforce, data analytics and business advisory services, with the company looking to bring its headcount up to 60 by year’s end.

“We are thrilled to announce the creation of 300 new roles in Ireland, adding to the 40 created in our first year, a testament to our commitment to invest in the talent and potential of this dynamic market,” said Dawson-Howe, country managing director for Slalom in Ireland.

“The demand from clients for the application of Gen AI to drive innovation in their operations has contributed to the rapid expansion of our Irish business over the past year and will fuel our future growth.”

The Seattle-based firm has notable clients such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, Salesforce, and Google Cloud, and operates in over 45 markets across eight countries.

Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment Peter Burke added: “Slalom’s decision to expand its operations in Ireland with the addition of 300 new jobs underlines the importance of Ireland as a stable and attractive location for international business.

“I am pleased to see a large technology consultancy company recognising the benefits of locating in Ireland and I wish Slalom every success in the future.”
