CLEVELAND, Ohio – St. Ignatius defeated Dublin Coffman, 35-21, at Coffman Stadium on Friday night.

St. Ignatius, ranked 11th in this weeks cleveland.com Top 25, jumped out to a 21-0 lead and led 28-7 at the half.

Coffman cut the lead to 28-21 with 10 minutes left in the game. The Wildcats responded as Jake Bobinski scored on a 18-yard run with 4 minutes left to seal the victory.

Owen Cowell scored twice in the first half, including a 36-yard touchdown. Minnesota commit Grant Washington scored on a 15-yard run. St. Ignatius quarterback Daniel Chalhoub scored on a sneak that was set up by his 54-yard pass to Luke Simms.

Coffman quarterback and Army commit Amari Valerio-Hudson threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Daven White in the first half. White added a rushing touchdown in the third quarter.

Valerio-Hudson threw a second touchdown pass, to Cameron Hairston, in the fourth quarter to make it a one score game.

The start of the game was delayed 54 minutes due to the weather. St. Ignatius (1-2) will travel to Walsh Jesuit on Sept. 13.
