GARDAI are appealing for the public’s help in a bid to find a missing man who hasn’t been seen in days.
Olamide Adekunle was reported missing from Balbriggan, Co Dublin.
The 32-year-old man was last seen in Gormonston, Co Meath, on Wednesday, September 11.
It is believed that Olamide may have travelled from the Drogheda area via taxi to Gormonston, where he was last seen at approximately 8:40pm.
The man has been described as approximately 5ft 10inches with a medium build.
Olamide was last seen wearing a black short-sleeved shirt with cream shorts and black shoes.
He has black hair and hazel eyes.
Gardai and his family are “concerned for his well-being”.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Balbriggan Garda Station or contact them on the confidential line at 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
A spokesperson for Gardai said: “Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 32-year-old Olamide Adekunle, who is reported missing from Balbriggan, Co. Dublin since Wednesday 11th September 2024.
“Olamide is described as being approximately 5 foot 10 inches in height with a medium build with black hair and hazel eyes. When last seen he was wearing a black short sleeve shirt with cream shorts and black shoes.
“Olamide may have travelled from the Drogheda area via taxi to Gormonston Co. Meath, where he was last seen at approximately 8:40pm Wednesday evening.
“Gardaí and Olamide’s Family are concerned for his well-being.
“Anyone with any information on Olamide’s whereabouts is asked to contact Balbriggan Garda Station on 01 8020510, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
Elsewhere, gardai have also issued an appeal for assistance locating a teenage boy who may have travelled to Cork.
Alex Byrne Kenna, 15, was reported missing from Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim since Thursday evening, September 5.
Alex is described as 5 feet 8 inches in height, of slim build, with light brown hair and green eyes.
It is unknown what he was wearing when last seen.
And cops fear he may have travelled to Cork.
Gardai are urging anyone with information to contact Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station.
A garda spokesperson said: “Anyone with any information on Alex’s whereabouts is asked to contact Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station at (071) 965 0510, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
