Croke Park in Dublin emerged as the most Instagrammable stadium in the country, with 167,874 posts under the hashtag #CrokePark. Croke Park, named after Archbishop Thomas Croke, can seat an estimated 82,300 guests and is a popular venue for sporting and entertainment events.

Another Dublin stadium, Aviva Stadium ranks second, with 44,468 posts on Instagram bearing the hashtag #AvivaStadium.

Antrim’s Casement Park, which seats 34,578, rounds out the top ten, with 193 Instagram posts featuring the hashtag #CasementPark.

A spokesperson for Tonybet commented on the study: “Ireland has many stadiums that play a multipurpose role in hosting sporting and music events yearly. This study gives an interesting insight into which stadiums are the most popular on social media by looking at Instagram hashtags, which may be a way to associate oneself with popular locations.”
