Cameron Smith has confirmed he will be teeing it up in three tournaments in his native Australia during LIV Golf‘s off-season.
Smith, 31, has officially put his name down to play in the BMW Australian PGA Championship at Royal Queensland from 21-24 November.
The Australian PGA is co-sanctioned between the DP World Tour, PGA Tour of Australasia and OneAsia Tour.
Smith, who won the 2022 Open Championship, has won the Australian PGA three times in his career.
He won in back-to-back years in 2017 and 2018 at Royal Pines, before completing his hat-trick in the event at Royal Queensland in 2022.
PGA Tour star Min Woo Lee won the Australian PGA last year at Royal Queensland.
Smith is also confirmed to play in two other events in Australia.
He is down to play in the Queensland PGA from 31 October to 3 November and the New South Wales Open from 14 to 17 November.
Those events are not co-sanctioned with the DP World Tour.
Smith’s participation in the DP World Tour’s Australian PGA comes during a time where fellow LIV Golf duo Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton have been let back onto the circuit as a result of having appealed their fines.
News emerged earlier this week during the BMW PGA at Wentworth that the DP World Tour has rejected LIV Golf’s attempt to pay off their fines.
The latest update to Smith’s playing schedule means he will have played in front of his home fans four times this season.
It could be five times if Smith decides to also compete in the Australian Open at Kingston Heath GC from 28 November to 1 December.
“Coming home to Queensland is a highlight of my year,” Smith told PGA Australia.
“It’s always special to be back playing in front of my family, friends and all the golf fans and hopefully being up near the lead.
“Playing both Brisbane tournaments is going to be something different for me, but I’m really looking forward to both weeks back home.”

Smith also played at LIV Golf Adelaide earlier this season, the sole Australian event on the Saudi-bankrolled circuit.
He finished T14 at The Grange GC.
LIV Golf Adelaide drew a record attendance on the breakaway league this April.
Smith is currently winless in 2024.
He has amassed seven top-10 finishes on LIV Golf this season including two runner-up finishes in Hong Kong and Singapore.
As a result, he finished seventh in the season-long individual standings, which was won by Jon Rahm in Chicago last Sunday.
Smith had a mixed bag in the four majors this season, with his highlight being a T6 at The Masters.
He finished T63 at the US PGA, T32 at the US Open and he missed the cut by a wide margin at The Open.
Smith, who is the captain of Ripper GC, is competing in LIV Golf’s season finale at the Team Championship in Dallas at Maridoe GC this week.
Marc Leishman, Matt Jones and Lucas Herbert are also on Smith’s Ripper GC.
Ripper GC are ranked third in the team standings heading into this week.
