DUBLIN Zoo have made a major Wild Lights 2024 announcement – and a number of ticket prices have been slashed.
The beloved organisation has revealed that this year’s theme is “a journey through time”.
And not only that, they are celebrating the return of the late night park attraction with half price tickets.
For the opening weekend on Friday, October 25 until Sunday, October 27, tickets will be available with 50 per cent off.
Tickets will range in price from €24.50 to €25.50 for adults and from €20 to €21 for children.
Annual pass holders can avail of a special rate, from €22.50 to €23.50 for adults and from €18 to €19 for children, while children under three go for free as long as they have a pre-booked ticket.

The weekend after that, from Friday, November 1 until Sunday, November 3, punters can take advantage of a 30 per cent discount.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 11am, and must be booked online to be snapped up at the discounted price.
The event draws massive crowds each festive season and lights up the park with inflated, on-theme works of art.
The event will take place from 5pm until 9pm, November 4 until January 5, except for Christmas Eve, Day and Stephen’s Day.
Director of Dublin Zoo, Dr Christoph Schwitzer, said: “Each year, we are excited to announce our new Wild Lights experience, and we believe our visitors are in for the most unforgettable journey yet.
“With active volcanoes and dinosaurs as well as spectacular works of art brought to life through our beautiful silk lanterns, there really is something for everyone.”
He added: “We can’t wait to welcome visitors to experience a memorable evening with family and friends over the coming months!”
And Dublin Zoo Wild Lights organisers said: “There’s something for all ages, from the youngest dinosaur experts to older history buffs!
“Visitors will travel billions of years back in time, all the way to the Big Bang.
“From there, intrepid time-travellers will have the chance to roam among dinosaurs before witnessing the age of humans, the rise of ancient civilisations, and right through to modern times.
“Visitors will be transported across time as they discover the history of our planet through the ages, there’s everything from pre-historic megafauna to life-changing first inventions and even beautiful works of art from the Renaissance, all in the form of bright and colourful, eye-catching lanterns!
“Wild Lights is a magical immersive experience, perfect for friends and family members of all ages to come together and create unforgettable memories as they ‘Journey Through Time’ together.”
