Due to a vehicle on fire the Samuel Beckett Bridge closed in both directions this morning.

Dublin Fire Brigade is currently on the scene as of 8.30am.

At 9.10am it reopened for southbound traffic. The northbound right lane remains closed but traffic is passing in the bus lane.

There are also delays on the M50 following two collisions this morning.

There was a collision on the M50 between J04 – Ballymun and J03 – M1/M50 (Northbound) around 9am this morning.

Another incident took place around 8am between J07 – Lucan and J09 – Red Cow (Southbound), this has been cleared but traffic is moving slowly.

Meanwhile, delays continue in the city centre with Mobhi Road and Phibsboro Road moving very slowly, possibly due to drivers avoiding the delays through Drumcondra.

Swords Road has delays of over an hour from the Dublin Tunnel to Dorset Street where the right lane is closed for roadworks between Clonliffe Road and Belvidere Road.
