Dublin Zoo has announced the return of the much-loved night-time exhibit, which features displays of eye-catching lanterns decorating the zoo.

This year’s theme, ‘A Journey Through Time,’ invites guests to travel billions of years back, all the way to the Big Bang. The event will open to the public on October 25.

The colourful display will see visitors greeted by dinosaurs before witnessing the age of humans, the rise of ancient civilisations, and modern times.

“Each year, we are excited to announce our new Wild Lights experience, and we believe our visitors are in for the most unforgettable journey yet,” Dr Christoph Schwitzer, Director of Dublin Zoo, said.

“With active volcanoes and dinosaurs, as well as spectacular works of art brought to life through our beautiful silk lanterns, there really is something for everyone.

“We can’t wait to welcome visitors to experience a memorable evening with family and friends over the coming months,” he added.
