A weather warning has been issued for three counties on Saturday.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Cork, Kerry and Waterford over the weekend. 

The warning is currently valid for 24 hours, from 00:00 Saturday to 00:00 Sunday.

Forecasters are warning of “heavy and persistent rain” during this time.

Met Éireann says possible impacts of the rain includes localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions”.
