Costing over €3 million to build, the new cinema will create around 20 full and part-time jobs.

Since The Landscape Cinema closed in 1965, Rathfarnham has not had a local cinema. However, Movies @ Dundrum is located nearby the southern Dublin town.

‘Our elevated cinema experience in Nutgrove will feature all ‘Pullman’ style double and single sofas in five intimate 50-seater auditoriums offering the latest blockbuster movies,’ Mark Anderson, director of Omniplex Cinema Group said.
