Ricky Gervais will bring his new Mortality tour to Dublin next March.

The Office star will perform at Dublin’s 3Arena on 26 March next year, as part of his Mortality Tour, which follows his recent Netflix special Armageddon, a show that saw him win a Golden Globe.

Following a run of sold out UK shows, Ricky Gervais play several shows across Europe, including Lisbon, Paris, Vienna, Oslo, and Zurich between February and July next year.

Tickets for these shows go up for pre-sale on Wednesday (9 October) at 10am local time, before going on general sale on Friday (October 11) at 10am.

Gervais Says “Bring it on”

The comedian said this of the tour: “We’re all gonna die. May as well have a laugh about it. Mortality looks at the absurdities of life. And death. Bring it on”.

As with previous tours, Ricky Gervais has confirmed that a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to charity, with The Office star donating £1.91 million to several animal charities from his Armageddon Tour’s ticket sales last year.

The Mortality tour will also be filmed for Netflix.

Tickets for these shows will also go on sale from Ticketmaster. More on this here.

Speaking of his Armageddon Tour, Ricky Gervais defended a controversial joke he made about terminally ill children on his Netflix special last year. More on this from Nova here.
