CUSTOMERS have been left devastated after a popular coffee shop announced its shock closure.
Milo’s on Drumcondra Road, Dublin, was a speciality coffee shop run by Two Boys Brew.
It served delicious coffee, pastries, and brunch to loyal customers after opening in 2021.
But the business owners took to social media to announce the beloved spot’s sudden closure.
They said: “We’re announced a big decision; our last day trading at Milo’s will be October 4.
“We’ve been so lucky over the last couple of years to have built a team of wonderful people who have worked so incredibly hard to make Milo’s what it was.”

The bosses went on to thank their loyal customers for their support throughout the years.
They continued: “To all of you who have visited Milo’s, whether just the once or on a regular basis, thank you!
“Thank you so much for your support, your daily chats, allowing us to cuddle your dogs at every opportunity and for bringing a smile to our faces.
“We’re going to miss seeing you daily and hearing about what’s going on in your lives.”
Heartbroken customers races to the comments section to share their condolences.
One said: “So sorry to read this. Such a realistic and raw description of what it is to own a business and how let down everyone is constantly in hospitality.
“You lads are still one of the best places in Dublin.”
Another commented: “Love to read that you are listening to what works for you guys – and focusing your energies on what matters most.
“Amazing to have created a second successful business, and I feel pure relief you continue to nurture 2BB…as we love it so much!! Go team T&K.”
A third person put in: “So so sad to hear this. Loved Milos. Best cinnamon rolls ever!!!
“A big loss to the neighbourhood.
“You definitely made the place a happier one. Thank you.”
It comes after another popular spot closed for good over the weekend.
‘1O amazing years’
Wuff restaurant on the corner of Benburb Street and Blackhall Place in Dublin had been in business for 10 years.
The post read: “After more than 10 amazing years in business, we have decided to remodel our beloved ‘Wuff’ and create something new.
“Unfortunately, that means, Wuff’s last day will be tomorrow, Saturday 5th October.
“Although Wuff has a thriving trade, a well-renowned reputation, and such loyal support from our customers and staff, the ever-increasing costs and colossal taxation of our business are unsustainable in the long-term, so it’s time to make a change.
“Making this change will allow us to continue our passion for creating and serving fresh quality produce but in a different way.
“A massive thank you to our loyal customers and to our fabulous staff, both past and present, all of whom made Wuff a truly special little restaurant.
“We very much look forward to seeing you all again in our beautiful building on the corner of Benburb Street and Blackhall Place in the coming weeks.
“We will be announcing all the details soon, All the best, Sinéad & Theresa.”
