WITH breath-taking beaches, a bustling nightlife and highs of 21C – this Mediterranean spot is perfect for some winter sun.

Ryanair currently have flights from Dublin in October starting from just €19.99.

Dubbed The Venice of the Canaries, the pretty fishing village is a traffic-free centre.

Explore the picturesque resort with cobbled streets and charming whitewashed houses.

Canals and bridges of its seawater flow into the city, earning its name “Little Venice”.

Take a stroll on Puerto Mogan’s main beach, with temperatures reaching highs of 21C in October.

Temperatures peak at 19C in November – which isn’t exactly scorching but still offers much more comfortable conditions than Ireland.

Other must-see beaches include Playa de Amadores and Lovers’ Beach.

Take a boat trip with dolphin and whale watching in the beautiful bay.

Pay a visit to Delphinus Diving School for some snorkelling or scuba diving course.

The holiday resort home to Europe’s longest infinity pool

The harbour, full of yachts, is bustling with restaurants and bars, including top rated spots Bolero and I Love Mogan.

Visitors took to TripAdvisor to rate their stay.

One person said: “What a beautiful holiday resort. The Venice of the Canaries, as they call it. Loads of holiday shops and restaurants. Great visit.”

Another said: “Wonderful little resort a little up market which sorts out the clientele would definitely go again beautiful sandy beach few nice shops and lots and lots of nice restaurants.”

One visitor said: “What a beautiful place! Highly recommend a visit.

“You can wander around the harbour see the boats and visit the shops with their beautiful gift. There is also a beach area. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink.”

‘A PLACE YOU WILL REMEMBER FOREVER’

Another said: “Beautiful fishing village, turned beach resort and marina. Pretty flower adorned apartments surround the marina with golden sands close by.

“Great choice of restaurants and quality food slightly dearer than other resorts in area but worth it.

“This should ensure it remains a favourite with couples and young families and keeps the noisier bars in Puerto Rico etc.

“One minor complaint. Restaurant owners, please don’t stand outside your premises hassling customers.”

While another added: “Amazing little seaside harbour and beach, spectacular views, wonderful houses and flowers.

“Great beach to swim! Great for all type of people. A place you will remember forever!”
