Clare Daly, the former MEP, has confirmed she is considering a Dail comeback just months after losing her European parliament seat.

We understand the former Dublin Fingal TD, who served in the Dail between 2011 and 2019, is considering a switch to Dublin Central. Daly herself told The Sunday Times yesterday: “Well, there’s certainly plenty of people asking us. We haven’t decided.”

The former Independents 4 Change MEP held a public meeting on October 9 in Cabra that focused on the Occupied Territories Bill. The plethora of posters in the area ahead of the event had sparked intrigue among political wags locally about Daly’s plans for a Dail return.
