Dublin Airport

There has been a collision on the M50 at Junction 12 Firhouse southbound.

The incident occured around 7.30am this morning. Traffic is moving slowing in the middle and right lanes.

Meanwhile at Dublin Airport, the first wave of flights is moving very well but there are knock-on delays.

“As a result of Sunday’s disruption at airports across Ireland, the UK and Europe, some knock-on delays today are inevitable as several airlines have aircraft out of position,” Dublin Airport said.

“A small number of flights have already been cancelled by airlines for today. Passengers due to fly today are advised to check with their airline for latest updates regarding their flight.

“In total on Sunday, airlines cancelled 81 flights, 39 go-arounds were performed and 34 aircraft opted to divert to other airports.”

Also due to the storm, a huge tree is down on the N11 inbound just after Newtownpark Avenue blocking the start of the bus lane.
