Aer Lingus is assessing which European services it will have to cut or reduce next year from the capital in order to facilitate launches of new transatlantic routes while Dublin Airport operates under the constraints of a controversial passenger cap.

It is expected to make a decision within weeks as take-off and landing slots for summer 2025 services out of the airport are allocated and airlines launch their schedules for the season.
