A man has been injured by a vehicle in an incident near a Luas stop this afternoon.

Delays are expected for Dublin commuters following the crash by the Kingswood Luas stop in west Dublin.

The crash occurred on Bóthar Katharine Tynan by Kingswood Luas stop.

Gardaí are controlling traffic and emergency services were reportedly on the scene. Traffic is built up back into Ballymount. However, all lanes have now been reopened on Bóthar Katharine Tynan, as the collision at Kingswood has been cleared.

Delays of 15 minutes remain from Ballymount.

A spokesperson confirmed Gardaí are currently at the scene of a collision in Kingswood, Dublin 24.

“As this is an ongoing incident, no further details are available,” the spokesperson added.

There have also been reports of a crash on the R136 Grange Castle Road northbound, by Grange Castle Business Park with delays building.
