There are fears of possible job cuts at customer experience software developer Concentrix.
The company said that around 100 staff will be impacted by the ramping down of a client campaign in Dublin beginning in February 2025.
“This was a result of a change of business requirements for the client,” a spokesperson said.
“As part of the consultation process, we are working with each person directly to help them apply for and transfer to other open positions within the company,” they added.
Impacted employees began receiving emails yesterday informing them that they were at risk of redundancy and that a 30-day consultation period would now begin.
The email stated that during the consultation process, the company would discuss and explore ways of avoiding or reducing the number of redundancies and reach agreement if possible.
In February 2022, Concentrix announced the creation of 50 new jobs in Ireland, all of them remote.
At the time, the company had 270,000 employees globally, with more than 4,300 people working for it in Ireland.
