Bowen YangKin as Moo DengKin, a giant celebrity pumpkin created by Dublin resident Jeanette Paras, has gone to that big zoo in the sky.

It’s the first time in the 36 years that Paras has been decorating pumpkins as famous people that one has met its untimely demise before Halloween.

The 611-pound pumpkin bore the likeness of “Saturday Night Live” character Moo Deng, a pygmy-hippo parody by actor Bowen Yang.

Paras knew the end was near when the gourd began leaking and emitting a smell. Then, bugs showed up and began circling, she said in a press release.

“This is a first, that’s for sure,” the 69-year-old artist said. “Who hasn’t had some bananas or a bag of salad go bad in their kitchen? My pumpkin was a very large piece of fruit that went bad. Quickly.”

Fortunately, Paras saw the end of Moo DengKin’s short life approaching and was assisted by Fastsigns making a life-sized cutout to replace the pumpkin.

Several of Paras’ pumpkins have drawn national and international attention, including Taylor SwiftKin, Ted LassoKin, Baby YodaKin, TrumpKin and PumpKim Jong Un.
