A EuroDreams player in South Dublin will be continuing their Halloween celebrations into the weekend after scooping a massive jackpot in Thursday’s (October 31) draw.
The player scooped the Tier 2 prize in a special promotion held for the October 31 draw, which guaranteed that one EuroDreams player in Ireland would win €2,000 per month for the next five years.
The National Lottery has since confirmed that the winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw in Tesco Superstore, Rathfarnham Shopping Centre in Dublin 14.
‘THRILLED’
Revealing that Tesco staff in the South Dublin store were thrilled to hear they’d sold the winning ticket, manager Gary O’Regan said: ‘Receiving a call from the National Lottery bright and early on a Friday morning was an unexpected surprise.

He added that there’s a ‘great atmosphere’ within the store with customers checking their tickets and wished the players every success with their win.
The winning numbers that scooped the lucky player the eye-watering amount have been confirmed as 1, 6, 8, 9, 29, and 30, with the dream number being revealed as 4.
