The threats are connected to a feud between families in the south inner city.

Two primary school children in Dublin have been formally notified by gardai they’re under threat.

It’s related to a feud in the south inner city.

The families of the two primary school children were formally given the Garda Information Messages in recent days.

The form is normally given to a person when gardai believe there’s a threat to their safety and they need security advice.

The children, who are under 12, are believed to be among the youngest people ever to be given a Garda Information Message.

The Irish Independent reports the forms were issued after two anonymous phone calls were made to their school in recent weeks, warning they were to be targeted.

It’s related to a feud in the south inner city, with local residents concerned about an escalation in tensions.
