There wasn’t a dinosaur in sight when Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams took to the streets of Dublin this week for her latest role.

The 27-year-old English actress, who famously played Ayra Stark in what was until recently the world’s most popular TV show, is currently making new movie 500 Miles here.

Maisie is pictured in the capital’s Cumberland Street, near Pearse Street, as she prepared to board a bus.

The road-trip film follows two brothers who travel to Ireland to find their estranged grandfather.

The flick also that also stars famed British actor Bill Nighy (74) and Jojo Rabbit star Roman Griffin Davis has begun filming in counties Wicklow and Dublin.

Additional cast members include Kin star Clare Dunne (Amanda), This Is England star Michael Socha and young A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms actor Dexter Sol Ansell

Maisie plays free-spirited street musician Kait who joins sixteen-year-old runaway Finn (Griffin Davis), on a journey across land and sea to reach Finn’s estranged grandfather (Nighy), who is living off-the-radar on Ireland’s west coast.

The Bristol actress was in a relationship with fashion designer Reuben Selby but broke up with him recently after five years of dating.

She is a well-known environmentalist and change activist.

During the coronavirus pandemic, she donated £50,000 to support the work of the Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, from which she had adopted a dog.

Maisie is also a fashionista, though she has been quoted tongue in cheek saying “no dress in the world is worth giving up sword fighting”.
