The Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin will be in Dublin for his party’s General Election manifesto launch, and is then due to campaign in Louth and Meath this afternoon.
The Fine Gael leader Simon Harris will also be in Dublin for his party’s housing policy launch, and will then travel to in Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.
Meanwhile, Sinn Féin will focus on alleviating the tax burden for average workers during an event to launch its team of candidates later this morning.
Around 70 candidates are expected to contest the election for the party.
During today’s event in Dublin, the party’s finance spokesperson Pearse Doherty will outline plans to abolish the Universal Social Charge for workers earning less than €30,000 in 2025. This will increase by another €15,000 in 2026 to €45,000.
The party estimates that two million workers will benefit from the change.
Later today party leader, Mary Lou McDonald, will travel to Monaghan and Meath where she will campaign with local candidates.
The Green Party leader Roderic O’Gorman will be in the Dublin South Central constituency, supporting candidate Patrick Costello’s bid to secure re-election.
The Labour leader Ivana Bacik will also be campaigning in the Dublin South Central constituency, with her party’s candidate Cllr Darragh Moriarty.

The Social Democrats meanwhile will publish a plan in Dublin on how to prevent the waste of taxpayers’ money and restore trust in politics.
It will be led by Gary Gannon, Catherine Murphy and Cllr Eoin Hayes, who is the party’s candidate in the Dublin Bay South constituency.
