This dog has been handed into Balbriggan Garda Station

Gardaí in north Dublin are seeking help to reunite a small dog with its owner after the pet was brought into their care early yesterday morning.

Officers at Balbriggan Garda Station posted an appeal on social media, sharing two photos of the dog.

“This handsome little chap was handed into Balbriggan Garda Station in the early hours of this morning,” they wrote in the post.

“He was given a blanket and far too much love, attention and treats.”

Gardaí are appealing for information for the dog’s owner to come forward

In their message, gardaí appealed to anyone with information about the dog’s owner to reach out, saying: “If this dog belongs to you, or if you have any information as to its owners, please contact Balbriggan Garda Station at (01) 802 0510.”

The post has since gained attention from local residents who shared it in hopes of finding the owner quickly.

If you recognize this dog or know who may be missing a beloved pet, gardaí would appreciate your call to help bring this little one home.
