Jenna Ortega is one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood following her breakout role as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix smash-hit Wednesday, which the 22-year-old Californian followed up with a leading role in another Tim Burton vehicle this year, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

If Paul Mescal wasn’t already one of the hottest properties in film right now, he will be once Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II is released later this month, in which he plays the son of Maximus Decimus Meridius. The 28-year-old from County Kildare rose to prominence in the series Normal People, which became one of the most popular shows on television during the peak of the pandemic.

Before tongues are set wagging, the pair weren’t at the match together, and with fans’ eyes stuck firmly on the on-field action between Ireland and the All Blacks, it’s unlikely the Aviva Stadium crowd would have even realised the considerable star power that was amongst them.

Ortega and Mescal were in the capital city to witness the world number one team Ireland and the iconic All Blacks write the latest chapter in their fierce rivalry. The match is part of the Autumn Nations Series, which sees the Six Nations of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales take on some of the best teams from across the globe.

As for the game itself, Ireland were unable to make it four wins out of six against the Kiwis, or to avenge their World Cup quarter-final loss against the same opponents. Ireland will face Argentina next in the Autumn Nations Series, while New Zealand travel to Paris for an epic meeting with France. Every match is being show live on TNT Sports.
