Twin brothers have been charged with the murder of a 45-year-old man in Tallaght in Dublin last year.
Eric and Sean Farrell, 20, from Castle Park in Tallaght, are charged with the murder of Ionel Nicolae Diaconu at a house in Castle Park in Tallaght on 11 December 2023.
Detective Garda Damien Reilly gave evidence of arrest charge and caution of Sean Farrell.
He said Sean Farrell made no reply when the murder charge was put to him and a true copy of the charge sheeted handed to him
Judge Patricia McNamara said she had no jurisdiction to hear a bail application. An application for bail in relation to serious charges, including murder, must be made in the High Court.
She asked Detective Garda Reilly if he knew when the book of evidence would be ready. He replied that he did not know.
Legal aid was granted with no objection from gardaí.

Eric Farrell was also charged with murder
The court heard that he made no reply when the charge was put to him under caution.
The judge was told a charge of causing serious harm to Mr Diaconu was being withdrawn.
Eric Farrell had been charged with that offence in December 2023 when legal aid was granted.
Judge McNamara again said bail was outside her jurisdiction.
She remanded him in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Thursday via video link.
