A man and a woman in their 20s are due in court charged in connection with a €2.6 million cocaine seizure in Dublin.
It comes after two cars were stopped in Swords by gardaí from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau at around 8.30pm on Wednesday night.
They also searched a property in the Shankill area.
During the course of these searches they found 38 kilos of cocaine with an estimated street value of €2.6 million, as well as €66,000 in cash, a cocaine press, money counters and other drug distribution equipment.
A 28-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and taken to a garda station in the Dublin region for questioning.
They have now been charged and are due to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court at the Criminal Courts of Justice later today.
