A MAJOR Dublin Airport spot has undergone a massive makeover and holidaymakers are loving it.
The Liffey Lounge, located in Terminal Two, has reopened to offer customers “comfort and great value”.
It was closed for refurbishment but is back with a bang and a brand new look.
Dublin Airport took to social media to make the announcement.
Posting on Facebook, they said: “Welcome to the new Liffey Lounge at Dublin Airport.

“Passengers are loving it so far. Check it out the next time you’re flying.”
They shared several snaps of the lounge’s new look, which has a modern but cosy atmosphere.
With a deep green and cream colour scheme, the lounge offers comfy plush seats and tables with lamps.
There is a carpet floor and there are multiple word desks with charging stations to top up before your flight.
Fans took to the post’s comment section to admire the updated area, praising the new atmosphere.
One user said: “Looking good. We never go through the airport without using the lounges.
“Absolutely worth the money for the relaxation and quietness before a flight.”
Another holiday goer commented: “Very posh.”
Somebody else said: “Looks really good. Congrats.”
The new area has a huge floor to ceiling window to allow plenty of light into the space.
And it offers stunning views of the runway to punters can feel the excitement build as they watch planes take off and land.
One jet setter commented: “It looks fabulous.”
Another shared the same sentiment, saying: “Looks fab.”
A third put in: “Lovely.”
The Liffey Lounge costs €30 per person when booked online and €35 per person when booked in person.
It is located between Terminal One and Terminal Two meaning it can be easily accessed from both sides of the airport.
Access includes tea and coffee, alcoholic drinks, a snack bar and shower facilities.
‘Important question’
Last month, Dublin Airport has left passengers divided after asking an “important question” on social media.
The airport teased the idea of a Chinese food spot opening soon.
And they may even start selling one of Ireland’s top food choices – the spice bag.
They said: “We have an important question!
“Spice bags at the airport, yay or nay?”
At present, the airport’s food scene consists mainly of quick-service chains, with no spot offering this culinary delight on their menu.
A Chinese restaurant would be a huge boost for passengers, especially those with longer layovers or those looking for more variety in food choice.
However, some passengers have been left divided, taking to the comment section to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: “Yes, definitely, I would buy so many because I travel a lot through Dublin.”
