Whether you’re heading to the shops, visiting family, or enjoying a festive night out, here’s everything you need to know to navigate the busy Christmas period and plan ahead.

Passengers can expect weekday services to operate as usual on December 12, 19, 20, and 23, with Nitelink and 24-hour services running alongside.

On Christmas Eve, December 24, services will continue throughout the day, but all routes will have their final departures at approximately 9 pm.

Regular Nitelink services will not be available this day, so travellers are advised to plan their journeys early.

For Christmas Day, Dublin Bus will be taking a break, so no services will operate.

A Saturday schedule will be in place on December 21, 27, 28, 30, and 31.

Additionally, early-morning departures will run on certain routes to accommodate increased demand.

Nitelink and 24-hour services will also be fully operational on these dates, making it easier for night-time revellers to get home safely.

On December 22, 26, and 29, as well as New Year’s Day, a Sunday service will operate.

However, Nitelink will not run on these dates, so passengers should plan alternative routes for late-night travel.
