Paul Rudd filming his new film Power Ballad in Dublin
Hollywood superstar Paul Rudd has been spotted filming in Dublin city centre this morning.
The star was filming his latest movie, Power Ballad, outside the Tourism Information Centre on Palace Street, beside Dublin Castle.
The film, starring Rudd and Nick Jonas, is a musical comedy created by Irish film director John Carney.
Carney, known for his work on Once and Sing Street, has also been seen dining around Dublin alongside Jonas.
Rudd, the star of Antman, Anchorman and Ghostbusters, previously called Ireland “the greatest place on earth” during an interview with US talk show host David Letterman back in June.
He visited Donegal for a friend’s stag party and told a bizarre story about how he was pranked by the father of Everton and Republic of Ireland player, Seamus Coleman.

The 45-year-old funnyman and some friends hired a house in Dunkineely for a stag weekend in April.
He was joined by a host of A-list actors including Game of Thrones star, Peter Dinklage, and Walking Dead star Dallas Roberts.
“First of all, Ireland is the best place on Earth. It is hands down the greatest country, it’s the best place,” he said.
He then told a story about attracting attention while wearing an Ireland soccer jersey emblazoned with the number two in a pub in Killybegs.
That is the same number worn by Killybegs’ favourite international full-back, Seamus Coleman.
A mischievous local garda informed Coleman’s father, who jokingly approached Rudd and said: “Only one person wears number two in this town, and that’s my son.”
