Dublin Bus is adding more night services in the run up to Christmas.

The ten 24-hour routes from the city will be boosted by an extra 45 bus departures spread out over several nights.

The nitelink will also run beyond the usual Friday and Saturday schedule, with six extra days of services.

The additional dates in December are Thursday 12th, Thursday 19th, Sunday 22nd, Monday 23rd, Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st.

Extra capacity on the 24-hour routes will see nearly 30,000 additional seats available to get people home. In addition, the nitelink’s six extra days will see an additional capacity of more than 20,000 passengers.

Meanwhile late-night DART and commuter services are also back ahead of Christmas. They will run from Thursdays to Saturdays.
