The winning numbers in Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 4, 12, 27, 36 and 49.
While there was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot worth €17m in total, over 45,000 players in Ireland won prizes across EuroMillions and Plus games, including the Plus top prize.
The top prize winner is being advised to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize in Lottery Headquarters.
“Last night’s EuroMillions draw brought fantastic news for one of our online players in Dublin, who scooped an incredible €500,000 prize,” Emma Monaghan, National Lottery Spokesperson, said.
“We’re encouraging all our online players to check their accounts today to see if they’re our latest big winner.
“It’s always exciting to see players winning life-enhancing prizes, and we can’t wait to hear how this one plans to celebrate,” she added.
This is the second Dubliner to win €500k in the EuroMillions this month.
The other lucky player won after buying his winning ticket via the National Lottery app for a draw in November.
“I bought a EuroMillions ticket on the app, using the same numbers every week,” he said.
“I got to work early and, while I was sitting in the car, I decided to purchase one more ticket for the draw. This time, it was just a Quick Pick ticket with Plus. That extra ticket turned out to be the lucky one!”
He said the night he checked the ticket online, he was in “complete disbelief” to see he had won €500,000.
“I got the notification on my phone. I could not believe what I was seeing,” he added.
“I took a screenshot of the notification and sent it to my wife – we were both in complete shock!”
The Dubliner said the win has yet to sink in, even while sitting in the exclusive Winners Room at Lottery HQ.
Although the celebrations have been tame for now, he is planning to go on a memorable holiday with his family next year and carry out some overdue home renovations.
