Gardaí launch public appeal for missing Dublin woman not seen for two days

Gardaí have appealed for help to find Siofra Ní Chanaigh (35), from Drumcondra

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of a missing Dublin woman who has not been seen Monday, January 6.

Siofra Ní Chanaigh was reported missing from her home in Drumcondra, Dublin 3, on January 6 at roughly 6.30pm.

Gardaí remain satisfied that Siofra’s last sighting was in this area on Monday.

Siofra is described as being approximately 5 feet 2 inches in height, with a medium build, light brown hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, Siofra was wearing light blue denim jeans, a red jumper with a daisy motif, and black boots.

A garda spokesperson also said that Siofra is known to frequent the Dollymount area of Dublin 3.

They added: “Gardaí and Siofra’s family are concerned for her well-being.

“Anyone with information on Siofra’s whereabouts is asked to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on (01) 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station,” they added.
