Significant delays on all Dublin Connolly rail services after gardaí respond to incident

Significant delays can be expected to all services in and out of Dublin’s Connolly Station on after gardaí were called to a report of antisocial behaviour.

The incident took place on a commuter service arriving at the station on Wednesday night.

In a post on X, Irish Rail said delays of more than 50 minutes can be expected as all services in and out of the station were halted following a request by gardaí.

A significant garda presence was reported at the station and a passenger was removed.

In a statement gardaí said they responded to “an incident that occurred on-board an Irish Rail commuter service arriving at Connolly Station”.

“While we remain at the scene, there are no public safety issues at this time.”
