An afternoon on Lambay Island, a private paradise just three miles off Dublin’s coast and home to Baron Revelstoke
Lambay Island is a constant and visible presence on the horizon for many Dubliners – but most are likely unaware of the scenic beauty, architectural gems and hundreds of wild wallabies just three miles off the coast of north Dublin.
At the end of August, I joined a group of twelve on Eamon McGrattan’s boat tour to Lambay Island. We meet at Malahide Marina on a sunny Saturday morning and set off for the 30-minute boat ride.
