TALLAGHT Swim Club had plenty to cheer about at the Irish National Age Group Championships in Limerick.
Held in the University of Limerick over four days, Tallaght had a brilliant competition with six swimmers competing for the club between the age of 12-14.
All swimmers from Tallaght made the finals, three national titles were achieved, numerous more medals, and huge improvement and progression for all.
On top of that, Tallaght Swim team were crowned Swim Irelands “Best Club” bringing the annual plaque home to their training base at Tallaght Sports Complex, where it will remain until next year.
“Six of our members won four gold medals, three silver and a bronze medal which was a superb achievement for the club,” said Tallaght Team Club coach Li Tao.
“We won the Best Club award from the competition, and we are delighted to have come away with this title and our members doing so well” added Li.
